A Patient Education Program for Spinal Fitness: |
P.E.P. is a FREE Patient Education Program. It is a series of four weekly classes that help you understand a simple, common sense approach to improving back function. The goal of the P.E.P. program is to educate people on how to improve strength, joint range, endurance and nutrition to reduce and/ or eliminate back and neck pain. Come learn how to take control of back and neck pain with this simple, research-based approach.
P.E.P. consists of four educational programs that are given once weekly and are repeated each month. The 1 st class "Spine Anatomy and Sources of Pain" consists of posture, ergonomics and exercise options at home or gym. The 2 nd class "Muscle Atrophy" will educate you on how muscle weakening causes back pain and how to prevent this. The 3 rd class "Nutrition" will educate you on how important nutrition is and the nutritional programs we encourage. The 4 th class "Alternatives to Traditional Back Surgery" will be lead by top researchers and physicians in related fields speaking of alternative methods to traditional back surgery.
The P.E.P. program will begin November 7th, @ 5:30 pm . It will be held in the meeting room located at 4130 La Jolla Village Drive Suite 100 . The series will be recurring every month. Come check us out!
